Visual Progger is mainly done by one of the most talented guy I’ve worked with, Isaiah Wong. I’m only partly incharge of overlooking the art direction and the visuals of Visual Progger.
Visual Progger seeks to provide visualisations to discern the underlying foreign behaviour of a sophisticated ransomware namely, Locky through the usage of Web, Provenance and Server technologies such as WebGL – 3D Graphical Visualisation, Progger – Provenance Tracking and Redis – Messaging cache. These technologies will serve as an added value in providing a comprehensive visualization.
Visual Progger aims to effectively tackle these areas of concerns, namely consolidating the huge volumetric logs produced by Progger, transforming it into meaningful data. These solutions are consolidated into a Web Application.
This project complements Progger -provenance logger, developed by the Cyber Security Researchers of Waikato, part of Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences in the University of Waikato.
This project works with logs produced by Progger, in order to determine and analyse the logs, produced in real-time or after the ransomware attack has occurred.
